Things To Do In Snettisham
Snettisham is located 5 miles south of Hunstanton and 10 miles from Kings Lynn.
Today the village offers a selection of basic amenities, including a Co-Op food shop, chemist and Coffee Shop. The village has 2 excellent pubs, The Rose and Crown and the Queen Victoria.
Standing above the village, St Mary’s Church dates from the 14th century. There are magnificent views of the church as you approach from the Southwest. It is particularly notable for its outstanding spire (which stands 172 feet high) and would have been an important landmark for mariners navigating The Wash in earlier times.
Walking & Cycling from the farm
Around the farm we have created two circular trails for walking. The Discovery Trail is 1.5 miles (about 30 mins) and the Footpath Trail is 1 mile (about 20 mins).
Most paths run through grassland on public footpaths and on our permissive paths. There are some steep sections that can be slippery in winter and several gates along the routes.
Sheep and deer both graze the farm, so dogs are welcome but please keep them on leads and leave gates as you find them.
Pick up a leaflet from the campsite reception.
